Have you heard about Leeward Community College's 50 Acts of Service project? In honor of our 50th anniversary, we aim to complete 50 acts of service during the 2018-2019 academic year! Please consider volunteering for an event to support this project and most importantly, our community!

Upcoming service opportunity: The City and County of Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting Halloween Spooky Fun House at Kalākaua District Park Thursday, October 25th. This event is geared towards children ages 12 and under. We are looking for volunteers to help with:

• Costume contest
• Make and take crafts
• Passing out candy
• Event breakdown

While this event is open for anyone to volunteer, event organizers strongly encourage student volunteers! Please pass this along to anyone who would be interested!
