BYOL and a Movie In-Person
During the 2nd week of Finals Countdown [New Window], we will be showing Lady Bird [New Window] in Kapunawai: Wednesday, December 11th, noon, and encourage attendees to bring their own lunches.
Directed by Greta Gerwig, Lady Bird (2017) was nominated for 5 Oscars and won 2 Golden Globes for Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy. The film is a coming-of-age comedy about a teenager (Saoirse Ronan) and her issues with her mother (Laurie Metcalf) during her senior year of high school.
We will also be hosting a raffle for student attendees! Mahalo to Jason Barron, Hot Dog Hawaiʻi (Library Concourse), for the hot dog donations!
